This community run market includes food and beverage stalls, hand made baked goods and other unusual crafts. It’s the best place to buy fresh, local produce, and chat with the maker who made or grew it for you.
The Wynyard Foreshore Markets are held on the first and third Sunday of every month from 8 am to 2 pm along the East Wynyard foreshore. The market showcases local produce and crafts, including jams, cakes, preserves, secondhand goods, plants, bric-a-brac, and much more. Over the summer months, there are also several Friday night twilight markets, and the markets are held every Sunday in the lead up to Christmas (check the Wynyard Foreshore Market Facebook page for details). The Wilmot Market is held from 9 am-2 pm on the first Saturday of every market season (7th Dec/7th Mar/ 6th Jun / 5th Sep) at the Wilmot Town Hall, Main Road, Wilmot. You will sample great tastes of the north-west! Enjoy wines from local vineyards, olive oils, honey, sorbet, fresh fruits, berries, veggies, jams, breads, sauces, conserves, pastries, cakes and biscuits. Browse at the Bric a Brac, hand-made crafts, jewellery, pre-loved clothes, soaps, lotions, gadgets and gifts.
Our 2021 Lilium Bulb Sale is planned to be held at the Latrobe Memorial Hall from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday 6th June. Our Lilium Bulb Sale offers a very broad range of Lilium bulbs along with some select companion bulbs and plants. Many of these bulbs are unavailable elsewhere and are often in short supply. Don Market, one of the oldest markets on the north-west coast of Tasmania and has been operating for over 40 years. Taste of the North West celebrates the range of food and beverages grown and produced in Tasmania’s fertile Cradle Coast region. Coinciding with Steamfest, this paddock to plate experience allows visitors to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages featuring meat, dairy, vegetables and fruit grown in the region’s rich red basalt soils.
