Arthur River Cabin Park is a small friendly family owned and operated caravan and cabin park located 2 km from the river and beach. We are located in far northwest Tasmania 14 km south of Marrawah in the Arthur Pieman Conservation area and are the gateway to the Tarkine Wilderness and the Western Explorer Road, an alternative well-maintained gravel road leading to Corinna and Strahan.
A very real and rustic part of Tasmania that you really need to see to believe. Come and explore an area with untouched beaches, Australia’s largest cool temperate rainforest, the wild roaring 40s winds at the edge of the world and some of the largest waves you will see while standing on land.
We are just a hop skip and jump from the Arthur River Cruises (highly recommend) which takes you 14 km up one of the most pristine rivers in Tasmania, feeding the sea eagles along the way.
The park provides powered sites, unpowered sites and cabin accommodation as well as a camp kitchen, bbq area, laundry and amenities building. We have an abundance of wildlife including paddymelons, echidnas, wallabies, possums and even the occasional quoll and devil.
