Quad Bike Tour
You will be picked up from your Cradle Mountain accommodation and travel to our base just outside the Cradle Mountain World Heritage Area. An introduction and safety briefing on our 2 seaters Quad-Bikes prior to climbing to the top of the Speeler Plain. The spectacular views of Cradle Mountain, Barn Bluff, Mount Roland, Western Bluff and Black Bluff are amazing (and you didn't even have to walk!) If the cloud is down then we just have to enjoy the solitude before we head off down the dirt (mostly mud) for a play before boiling the billy and ultimately heading back to base.
Horse Riding Tours (Multi-day)
Our most popular treks range from two to five days. Here is an example of our very popular three day ride: Day 1 is spent riding through the forests, grazing country and river flats of the beautiful Mersey Valley. The trails offer experienced riders plenty of opportunities to trot and canter. Day 2 is a trip to Narawantapu National Park (Bakers Beach) where you ride through the grasslands that are the feeding grounds for wombats, wallabies, forester kangaroo and numerous other species of our native marsupials. Then it's onto an amazing stretch of pristine beach where we can canter our horses through the shallows and the brave even have the opportunity to swim with their horses. Day 3 is spent riding through the Vale of Belvoir Conservation Area on the Northern boundary of the world famous Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair World Heritage Area. The views of Cradle Mountain and the surrounding peaks are stunning. Multi-day tour: around $360 per person and per day including horse-riding, all meals and accommodation at the shearers quarters at Kimberley.
