Playfish is a retro cafe, with great food, cosy atmosphere, free parking and a diverse menu.

They are a small, family-run business, built on a love of good old-fashioned food, genuine hospitality, and great coffee.

Everything they serve is made onsite, with the exception of the bread, which is sourced locally. To them, guests aren’t just customers — they’re friends who pop in to share a meal and feel at home.

Open early to make sure you’re well looked after from the start of your day. The menu reflects a fusion of flavours inspired by Asian, European, and Australian cuisine, brought together with care and creativity.

All of the sweets and baked goods are made in-house by the chef, a qualified pastry chef, with over 28 years of experience. They also take pride in offering a lighter style of dining — none of the food is deep-fried.

Conveniently located just outside the city centre, they offer easy parking with no meters, wheelchair access, a kid-friendly and dog-friendly environment, and outdoor dining.
