Welcome to Seaside Farm, a peaceful coastal farm stay in Penguin on Tasmania’s beautiful North-West coast.

Set on 8 scenic acres, Seaside Farm offers two fully self-contained two-bedroom cottages — Banksia and Grevillea — thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation.

Each cottage includes everything needed for a restful stay, with sweeping views across Preservation Bay and the sparkling waters of the Bass Strait coastline. Despite the tranquil rural setting, we are just a 5-minute drive from Penguin’s charming town centre.

Seaside Farm is a working farm owned and operated by Johan and Carla, running sheep, cattle and chickens. Guests are welcome to feed the sheep in the paddocks, visit the friendly chooks in the orchard, and spot local wildlife including wallabies and native birds — even wedge-tailed eagles overhead.

Penguin is a delightful seaside town, famous for its little penguins and the iconic Big Penguin. You’ll find cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and all essential amenities nearby.

Seaside Farm is an ideal base for exploring Tasmania’s North-West, including Cradle Mountain, Stanley, Boat Harbour, local wildlife parks and coastal walking trails.
