First off, take a short drive to the Tiagarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre to dive into Tasmania’s Aboriginal history, complete with raw views from Mersey Bluff and Bass Strait.

For those of you with a caravan in tow, Devonport is a breeze. Top spots like Discovery Parks and Mersey Bluff Caravan Park are well equipped and offer easy access to town. Before you roll on, why not take ride on the Don River Railway? Tasting Trail Tasmania | A self drive tour for the palate

  • The Berry Patch Just west of Devonport, this spot is ideal for picking fresh berries (Dec – March) or treating yourself to a delicious fruit ice cream. It’s a perfect stop for a sweet afternoon pick me up.
