Welcome to Cradle Mountain Highlands, a boutique Highland Cattle farm nestled in the foothills of Cradle Mountain, Tasmania.
At Cradle Mountain Highlands, you can spend time with the much-loved Highland cows – meet, feed, brush, learn about their care and take as many photos as you like.
You will have paddock access to the young Highland Cows, interactions with our adult Highland cows will generally take place over the fence rather than inside the paddock. In every experience, you will still have the opportunity to meet, feed, brush and spend time with selected friendly Highlands. Each experience runs for approximately one hour, with the option to stay longer and enjoy a BYO picnic next to our dam.
They offer a unique opportunity to connect with these incredible animals in their natural environment. The cattle are living animals with their own personalities, moods and boundaries. Whether guests enter the paddock or meet the herd over the fence is always at their discretion on the day.
All Highland Cattle Experience bookings are private – only you and the guests you bring will be in your group.
