Night Walk Adventure

Two-hour experience including walking and stops (3.4km walking) through the wilderness at twilight with a professional and knowledgeable guide, learning the unique behaviours and characteristics of native species and how they survive in Tasmania. Hands-on educational experience, as we look for the sights and sounds of Strahan's wildlife - discover tracks, burrows, poo, calls, footprints and other signs. You will learn how to spot and identify different creatures and will be able to use your new skills as you continue your travels throughout the state. You will learn about the use of remote detection cameras to monitor wildlife for conservation and for pleasure in your own backyard. You'll leave with an understanding of the conservation statuses of Australia's wildlife, and what we can do to help protect them.
